JR Language Translation’s Tenth Anniversary, and International Translations Day!

international translation day jr language translations anniversaryWe have arrived at the close of September, and the JR Language team has 2 awesome reasons to celebrate:

  • Today, is World International Translation Day
  • September marks JR Language Translation Service’s 10 year anniversary!

On this day, we reflect on a rewarding decade of hard work, complete with exciting challenges that have given us opportunities to grow in our mission to making the world smaller with translation services.

Today is an important day to celebrate multilingualism and recognize the translation professionals that with their creativity, research and and linguistic skill empower the world to communicate better and faster. Our thanks go out to all those linguists around the world with special appreciation to the professional translators and interpreters in JR Language’s team. Their dedication to bridging language barriers through translation services and interpretation work are the core of our organization and we celebrate their passion and careers on this day.

International Translation Day is the perfect day to reflect on our mission: to connect different worlds and cultures while facilitating communication between people and organizations around the world.

When I started this translation company, I was motivated by my struggles of living in a country where the culture, and language were completely foreign to me. The most important lesson that I learned in my first years living in the US, is that though we may think our perspective is the right one, we have to open our hearts and minds to the perspectives of others to enrich our lives and live in harmony. In a world that needs more peace and understanding, opening our perspective of the world can be facilitated through multilingual communication.
