JR Language Translation attends the SID Conference

On May 30^th, our Translation Company will be joining professionals representing governments, universities, international development organizations, and other organizations at the Society for International Development’s annual 2019 conference.  Held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC, the focus of SID’s 2019 conference is “Solving Wicked Problems of Development.”  Attendees can attend lectures by keynote speakers, explore the exhibit area, and take advantage of networking time.

This will be the third year that JR Language Translation Services has attended the Society for International Development’s annual conference.  Language services are closely tied to international development, and our team is always excited to find out new ways to serve the global community through professional translation and interpretation services and to meet other professionals from around the world working on International development.

What Is SID 2019 All About?

The Society for International Development’s mission statement is: “To bring diverse constituencies together to debate critical ideas, innovations, policies, and practices, advancing equitable development.”  SID focuses on promoting global human welfare through human rights campaigns, advancing education, furthering access to medical care, and countless other causes.  SID also serves as a connecting point for individuals and organizations devoted to advancing the well-being of humanity as a whole, and as a body of knowledge about international events.  The organization works with local governments, schools, and aid agencies to offer localized solutions to issues from human trafficking to natural disaster relief around the world.

Why is our Translation Company participating in the SID Conference?
