Corporate Blunders: Part 2

Last updated on July 3rd, 2023 at 10:34 am

This week’s Corporate Blunders presents “The Fartfull”, a desk that was named what effectively translates to something on the order of “Very Fast” in English. However, the Swedish company didn’t think to rename their innovative child’s desk:

The Fartfull

fartfull

Fartfull describes the desk in Sweden, but to English speakers: the kids that use it.

This is a funny lesson in the importance of language localization when you request translation services to sell products in other countries.
